Inter Milan attacking midfielder Sulley Muntari has undergone a medical as he closes in on a loan move to Sunderland.
The 26-year old Ghana international has been frozen out of the Nerazzurri line-up this season, making just eight league appearances, and is certain to become a Black Cats player for the rest of the season with the view to permanent deal.
The two clubs have agreed a short-term deal which will see the former Portsmouth man link up with fellow countrymen Asamoah Gyan and John Mensah at the Stadium of Light.
