Inter Milan’s Materazzi winds-up Zidane after latest outburst
Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has scoffed at Zinedine Zidane's latest outburst over their 2006 World Cup final clash.
Zidane reopened the feud this week by insisting he would rather die than apologise for butting Materazzi in the chest four years ago.
The moment of madness saw the Frenchman sent off in his final appearance as a professional footballer and Italy went on to win the game's ultimate prize in Berlin.
Materazzi's response was swift and succinct. On his website, the defender posted a photo of the dismissed Zidane walking past the trophy, along with the message in French 'Merci beaucoup monsieur' ('Thank you very much, sir').

zidane is by far the most skillfull of all time even maradonna himself has said so .....
materazzi couldnt play football he won a world cup which is criminal , materazzi should thank the rest of his team and give them all free head jobs..he became famous for getting zidane sent off nothing to do with football... he doesnt have the right to even mention his name. materszzi =gypsie
Materazzi was the better player on the day that it counted most. It must be nice for all Zidane's teammates who DIDN'T win a World Cup to remember how he let the team down big time.
