Inter Milan veteran Marco Materazzi is looking more and more likely to move to the USA with recent reports emanating from Italy suggesting so. The 37-year old centre-back is on his way out at the San Siro and Tuttosport suggests that a MLS move is high on the cards.
The arrival of young defender Andrea Ranocchia from Genoa and the impending entrance of Marco Andreolli from Chievo in the summer indicates that there is no longer a place for the World Cup-winning Materazzi in Leonardo's squad.
It is expected that Materazzi, who has spent the last nine-and-a-half seasons with the Nerazzurri, will depart in January but if he is keen to remain in Milan, it will only prolong his stay until the end of the current European season in June.
