Inter Milan and Juventus are battling for want-away Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

On Friday Corinthians President Andres Sanchez was quoted as saying City "have a proposal for €52m from Juventus."

Corriere dello Sport says Juve face stiff competition from arch rivals Inter.

If Manchester United complete their €40m swoop for Wesley Sneijder, then it's claimed the Nerazzurri will use that money to snap up Tevez.

The Argentine has been a long-term target for Inter president Massimo Moratti and visited Milan several times towards the end of last season.
