Emiliano Viviano is out for 5-7 months after snapping the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee, while Luca Castellazzi was stretchered off with a head injury during the friendly with Galatasaray.

Inter were considering the option of bringing back Julio Cesar for the big game and it’s reported they settled on that course of action.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was set to remain on holiday after the Copa America, but Coach Gian Piero Gasperini and director Marco Branca believe he’s necessary for the Italian Super Cup.
