Inter Milan ready to hand Adriano new contract

The Brazilian's impressive preseason form has convinced Inter chiefs to open negotiations about a contract extension, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

Adriano is inside the final two years of his current deal and with his agent currently in Milan, a first round of talks will be held today.

Adriano has sensationally revived his career after spending the second-half of last season in Brazil due to problems coping with life at Inter.
