Inter Milan president Erick Thohir is delighted with their swoop for Atletico Madrid defender Joao Miranda.

Miranda has joined the Beneamata from Atletico Madrid, following Jeison Murillo and Geoffrey Kondogbia to San Siro, with Martin Montoya expected this week.

“Miranda is another great addition to Roberto Mancini's squad for our new Inter," Thohir wrote on the club's official website.

“He is an experienced player who is as eager as we are to get started on our new adventure.
