Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir says Serie A will be stronger for fresh foreign investment.
Thohir has insisted that Serie A is in good health as a result.
"We have a loan from an international financial institution, and that is proof of the prospect of Italian football," he told Gatra.
"It shows that there is confidence in Inter but also that the outlook of Italian football is bright.
"You just have to look at some of the foreign investors that have come into the Italian game in recent years to see that."
