Inter Milan president Erick Thohir met with Massimo Moratti yesterday.
Moratti quit the club a fortnight ago, but Thohir insists their relationship remains positive.
"It's very good [the relationship with Moratti]," Thohir insisted.
"We see each other in Milan. I respect his decision [to step down] but he'll always be a part of the club.
"He has a 30 per cent share, he's a big fan of Inter and he'll help us again in the future.
"I have enormous respect for him, in 18 years at Inter he won 16 trophies. I have nothing to compare to that. In fact, I've already said I can't match his achievements."
