Inter Milan president Erick Thohir is happy to go into next season with Walter Mazzarri in charge.

Sportmediaset says Thohir retains confidence in the coach and has no plans of coughing up for a new manager.

Mazzarri is on a €3,3 million salary at Inter, with his current deal due to expire next year.

Inter coach Mazzarri, meanwhile, hopes to tempt fullback Christian Maggio from Napoli.

The pair worked together at Sampdoria.
