Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti wants Wesley Sneijder to stay.

Inter coach Claudio Ranieri admits the midfielder is not in his first-choice XI.

"There are highs and lows in relationships, but I think that Sneijder and Ranieri have character, strength and the desire to do well," said Moratti.

"I have a lot of faith in Sneijder and I believe strongly that we need him at Inter."
