Roberto Mancini is being linked with a return to Inter Milan. Il Giorno says Inter president Massimo Moratti has concerns over coach Jose Mourinho and the pressure he has invited after his tirade this week.
Moratti made contact with Mancini a month ago to sound him out about returning to Inter in July, Cesare Prandelli, the Fiorentina coach, is also under consideration. Mancini remains contracted to Inter until 2012 to the tune of £5 million-a-year.
Mourinho has already earmarked Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler as summer signings, but those plans will be ripped up if Moratti decides Inter cannot afford to live with the controversy that the Special One regularly creates.
