Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is interested in Fiorentina sports director Pantaleo Corvino.
Libero says Moratti has already made contact with the transfers expert as he considers offloading current GM Marco Branca at the end of the season.
Corvino, for his part, is yet to be convinced about moving to a high pressure role at Inter.
