Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti insists coach Andrea Stramaccioni retains his full confidence.
Strama again is under pressure after a poor defeat to Siena.
Moratti said: "We need to work hard, stay very alert and defend against attacks - especially those closer to us - in such a way that things start working again."
Asked if he sent Stramaccioni a vote of confidence via text, the president added: "No, I never sent any SMS I also read this, but I didn't send anything. Stramaccioni and I had a chat."
