All signs are that Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will be returning to Inter Milan in the summer.

City are willing to listen to offers for the Italian firebrand after manager Roberto Mancini lost patience with him last week.

Gazzetta dello Sport says girlfriend Raffaella Fico wants Balotelli to return to Milan, while Inter president Massimo Moratti has improved his relationship with the striker in recent months.

For their part, City have already granted Inter first refusal should they decide to sell Balotelli.

Only last week, Inter GM Ernesto Paolillo admitted: "Balotelli? Never say never ..."
