Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is pleased with the first days of coach Walter Mazzarri.

The president says he brought in Mazzarri on the players' request.

Moratti said: "We signed Mazzarri because he has character, hunger and intensity and I think this might have an effect on the players.

"They wanted more intensity in training and in the project. Mazzarri works very hard. And he's good at it too because he achieves excellent results through hard work."
