Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is adamant Goran Pandev will be the only signing this month.

Jose Mourinho, the Inter coach, has declared openly he needs a new midfield capture, particularly with Patrick Vieira now on his way to Manchester City.

"We can go forward like this. Chivu's injury seems less serious than predicted. He's facing up to things very well and has been treated well in Verona. We hope he recovers," Moratti explained.

Asked if Inter need to reinforce, Moratti said: "We'll see. It's perfectly legitimate that the Coach should ask for reinforcements but I believe that we can really go forward like this."

As for Aleksandar Kolarov, the Lazio full-back strongly linked with Inter, Moratti replied: "There has not been any contact for any player. For the moment, we have not had any contact."
