Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits he wanted to buy back Mario Balotelli from Manchester City.

The youngster has been one of the big revelations of the Euros.

Moratti told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I don't deny that I planned on bringing him back to Inter. I would gladly make another bid for him again, but Manchester City had the right to say no. They wanted to hold him tight."
