Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has full confidence in new coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
Gasperini was a surprise appointment at the end of last season.
But Moratti says: "The public is very sensitive to such important issues when the team enters difficulty. Sometimes they cannot take it anymore and express their dissatisfaction. It is human nature.
"I am convinced that we are still very strong, and have no doubt about the new approach, one that I view more as an evolution of the team.
"For this reason I am close to the Coach. We will be successful with the evolution of the team's tactics, and if we are not successful, our Coach is smart, and if appropriate, he will change."
Moratti also looked ahead to the coming season, and his team's chances of silverware: "I am very confident for the championship, whilst the Champions League, given our difficulties, will be taken game by game."
