Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is pleased with the impact of rookie coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
Moratti was candid when asked about why he appointed the inexperienced Italian as Head Coach of the club.
"It was not courageous of me to choose him in particular," Moratti told Sport Mediaset. "He has all the skills to take the job, and is a quality person.
"This is a turning point - sport and politics are coming together in an economy that should give us the strength to find positive values.
"It is an important year in which we reconstruct the basic values of Inter. The road will be difficult but with quality players, we will get back to the top of the League."
