Inter Milan president Moratti fired Mancini with one line

Moratti, after lunching with Diego Maradona, called Mancini for a meeting in the afternoon. The coach had no inclination of what was to come, entering the room in good spirits.

Moratti's first words to Mancini were: "Roberto, I have to let you go ..."

Mancini snapped back: "You 'have' to? Or you 'want' to let me go ...?"

And with that silence descended on the pair for several moments, before Mancini turned on his heels and left the office.
