Inter Milan president Moratti enjoying Mourinho's "brusque" manner

"This team is a work in progress, but one with all the labourers who already know what to do and have built three skyscrapers together," explained the President on Sky Sport Italia.

"I met Mourinho in mid-April after that situation that arose with Roberto Mancini, but I was fond of him even before that.

"Some may consider his attitude a little irritating and rude, but for others it is a challenge to make the work count. I love how brusque he is with words, as he gets his point across incredibly quickly between seriousness and irony.

"It is a positive attitude because you don't waste time and know you can trust this person."

Moratti also commented on Mourinho's predecessor, Roberto Mancini.

"I could understand if Mancini had difficulties cheering on Inter this season, but having worked with these players for so long, I hope his instinct leads him to stick with us," smiled the patron.

"I wish to point out there is a distinction between Moratti, the man who is fond of Mancini and has suffered alongside him, and the Inter President who has to evaluate what is best for the club and unfortunately the damage done by certain incidents."
