Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti was delighted with their victory over Udinese.
The win was coach Rafa Benitez's first in Serie.
"It is always difficult against Udinese, as that is the tradition," Moratti told Inter Channel. "It's important that we got the win, but we know that in Serie A you build it up victory after victory.
"If they had given us that penalty for the foul on Samuel Eto'o then we could've sealed it all up a lot earlier, but instead there was nothing."
He added: "Benitez is doing fine work. You need enthusiasm and to be fired up, not just for the squad but those who cheer them on. It's a symbiotic relationship.
"This Coach can give us a great deal, though it depends on whether this 'marriage' works.
"I think the players are putting all the effort in to make things work and Benitez has special talents too."
