Inter Milan president Moratti: Courageous Mourinho was the Man of the Match
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti hailed the influence of coach Jose Mourinho on last night's stunning win at Chelsea.
Moratti said former Chelsea manager Mourinho was “Man of the Match”.
"Mourinho was the Man of the Match. He had courage with the decisions he made during the last few days and tonight he picked the right line-up,” said the patron after a 1-0 victory over Chelsea.
“The players were very professional and the defenders in particular were fantastic.”
It is the first time the Nerazzurri have reached the Champions League quarter-finals since 2006, ending a taboo for the club.
“If we start putting this victory down as a positive thing, that's wonderful, but there are more to follow!
“We have a side that proved it has quality and also has the necessary character to keep going forward in the competition.”

Inter have become a beautiful and exciting team to watch. And the #1 move that Mourinho made: Eto'o for Ibrahimovic + 40 million, was there ever such a good deal made in the history of football? LOL. Eto'o alone is worth more than Ibrahimovic, it's the most insane deal of all time probably. Inter team now is beautiful to watch.
