Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed talks for Sao Paulo star Lucas.

Inter chief Marco Branca flew to Brazil last week to discuss Lucas with Sao Paulo.

Moratti said: "Have we made steps forward for Lucas? I don't know, because I haven't spoken to Branca yet. There was a journey to get an idea of the situation, but not for an immediate move. Lucas is a good player with notable talent."
