Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has announced the sale of the club to Indonesian billionaire Erick Thohir this morning. Thohir, 43, has paid around £300m for a 70 per cent stake in the Serie A side, according to Italian media sources.
Moratti admits he "doesn't know" yet if he will stay on as president but believes he will be allowed to decide himself.
On handing over the club to foreign owners, he said: "Every president leaves his mark...and with time there might be a different mark, I don't know.
"What's important is that you're always respectful of what's going on in the rest of the world...and I believe these people are keeping that in mind."
