Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti will attempt to close a deal for Palermo defender Matias Silvestre today.
Mediaset says Moratti has called Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini and all but struck terms over Silvestre's transfer. The defender will join Inter on a season-long loan with the view to a permanent deal from 2013.
Palermo will earn €8.5 million from the transfer, with Silvestre signing a four-year contract.
The two clubs are expected to conclude final negotiations today.
