Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits they're serious about beating AC Milan for Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.
Moratti was quizzed by journalists about the club's motives for disrupting the plans of their San Siro rivals.
"Tevez? If we do something it is not in jest but because we think it will be a good move," he made clear.
"We received information on how things stood and that there was room to act, we'll see if we can do it or not.
"There are still 20 days left. Am I optimistic about a deal for Tevez? It's not a matter of being optimistic, we'll just see how things are."
