Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has revealed he wanted to axe Roberto Mancini last year in favour of Fabio Capello.
"It is true, last year I had given Capello some real thought," Moratti told magazine Famiglia Cristiana.
"But then my faith in Mancini prevailed and it was a decision that thoroughly paid off."
