Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has rapped Cristian Chivu for getting injured in a friendly for Romania against Germany last week.

Chivu is out of tonight's Champions League clash with Fenerbahce and Moratti snapped: "Chivu shouldn't be missing this game.

"He knew that we were without suspended players and that he wasn't just important but necessary.

"In truth, if I were him I would have skipped the Germany game - it's just a matter of putting the club first."
