Inter Milan are exploring the sensational prospect of bringing back Samuel Eto'o from Anzhi on-loan in January. With Cameroon out of the African Nations Cup and Eto'o not Cup-tied from the Champions League, Inter are ready to re-sign the superstar striker for the second-half of the campaign as the Russian season shuts down.
Much will depend on Anzhi, but the deal will work similarly to AC Milan's past arrangement with LA Galaxy for David Beckham.
Asked about the proposal last night, super agent Enzo Bronzetti declared: "The deal can happen. They certainly can take Eto'o on-loan for a short period."
