Inter Milan are planning a late move for Manchester United fullback Matteo Darmian.
Gazzetta World reports Darmian, who's fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho, is now the Italian club's number one defensive target.
They claim manager Frank de Boer has met with Inter bosses to draw up a battle plan for the remaining hours of the transfer window.
It's believed the Dutch manager wants Darmian on a season-long loan.
United might have to take on a chunk of the Italy defender's salary if they really want him to move away for the season.
