Hugo Campagnaro is confident Inter Milan will improve under new coach Walter Mazzarri.
Inter have struggled in preseason under new coach Mazzarri.
"The first month at Inter has been good for me. We're working very hard and that's what matters in pre-season. Now we're about to start playing competitive matches so we really have to pull out all the stops.
"We still need a bit of time because this is a new group of players and it takes a while to put the Coach's ideas into practice. But even in the games we lost - apart from against Valencia - we did good things.
"We do need to improve at the back. You always pay for even the slightest mistake in defence. We have to get up to scratch quickly now."
