Inter Milan are following Espanyol midfielder Pablo Zabaleta.
The Argentine is viewed by Inter chiefs as a potential successor for club captain Javier Zanetti.
Inter hope a £4 million bid will be enough to prise Zabaleta away from Espanyol at the end of this season.
