Erick Thohir is believed to be pondering the sale of MLS club DC United.
The Indonesian businessman acquired a 70% majority shareholding of Italian club Inter Milan in October last year before becoming the Nerazzurri's president the following month.
When buying into the Milan club, Thohir and two other investors - Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjoto - took on debts of around 200million ($270m) which could force him to offload DC from his portfolio.
Il Sole 24 ore is of the belief that Thohir, who also owns Indonesian club Persib Badung and part-owns NBA franchise Philadelphia 76ers, is considering selling DC in a bid to offset the debt at the San Siro.
