Inter Milan opted against Chelsea's Salah because of military service

Inter Milan decided not to sign Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window because of the fact that he may have to serve in the Egyptian army.

Men between the age of 18 and 30 are required to serve in the Egyptian army at some point and it is believed that Inter opted not to pursue the Chelsea winger because of this fact.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that the Nerazzurri were interested in the 22-year old, who signed from FC Basel in January 2014, but chose not to go after him because of his chances at being called up for military duty.
