Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter chief Marco Branca made fresh contact with Valencia yesterday after seeing negotiations stall over a deal for Porto ace Ricardo Quaresma.
Branca has been encouraged over Valencia's initial demand of £7 million for Joaquin and is convinced the Spanish Liga club is prepared to go lower to get the deal over the line.
