Inter Milan have approached Arsenal for Shkodran Mustafi.
Sky Italia says Mustafi is a target for Inter Milan with the German international a priority for the Nerazzurri.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is set to lose Gabriel Paulista to Valencia for £10m and will be determined to keep hold of Mustafi, particularly with his switch to a back three.
Mustafi only joined the Gunners in 2016 for £34m from Los Che, but Luciano Spalletti is keen to bring him to the San Siro, but while they would ideally like to loan the player, Arsenal will not discuss that possibility after investing heavily a year ago.
Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala is another target for Inter, who are determined to strengthen their back line.
