Inter Milan are ready to use Wesley Sneijder to trump AC Milan for Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.

The Daily Mail says Inter hope to beat city rivals AC to the signing of Tevez by offering Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder in return.

The struggling Serie A side are desperate to add some firepower to their ranks after a desperate start to the season left them looking over their shoulder at the relegation zone.

Tevez is certain to leave Manchester City in the coming weeks having been told by Roberto Mancini that he will never play for the club again following a very public spat which culminated in Tevez refusing to come on as a substitute during a Champions League match.
