Inter Milan are willing to send Adriano to Newcastle United to convince them to part with Michael Owen.

The Sun says Inter boss Jose Mourinho will offer Toon a choice of a straight swap for £12million-rated Brazil ace Adriano or use Honduras striker David Suazo plus £4.5m cash as bait.

Owen, 29, has been an Inter target for several years and club president Massimo Moratti is a huge admirer.
