Inter Milan assistant coach Sinisa Mihajlovic says the decision to leave out Adriano for last night's clash at Roma was proved correct by their 4-1 win.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini fielded Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a lone forward and Mihajlovic said: "Adriano is too similar to Ibrahimovic, so we chose to bring on Julio Cruz - who scored.

"The same thing happened with Hernan Crespo. He came on and managed to score. Crespo scores goals as only he can."
