Inter Milan No1 Julio Cesar: Pandev winner had me crying tears of joy

Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar admits he broke down in tears when Goran Pandev netted their winner at Bayern Munich. The 'keeper's mistake gave Bayern Munich a 1-0 win at San Siro in the first leg and walked home that night.

He fumbled another easy shot at the Allianz Arena, but Inter emerged 3-2 winners to go through on away goals.

"It was a truly horrible moment. When I conceded that goal I wanted to walk off the pitch straight away and go back to Milan - on foot, on horseback, anything. But then I recovered," he explained.

"The goal was like a cold bucket of water over my head, but thanks to my teammates we got back on track and I really must thank then.

"Without doubt my mistake was worse than in the first leg, but fortunately we are still here commenting on a victory.

"When Pandev scored, I started crying. I thanked God and all my teammates. I would've been far too upset if we had gone out because of my mistakes, but these things do help you to grow.

"Here's hoping I've used up all my howlers for this season."
