Inter Milan have made a move to block Manchester United's bid for Wesley Sneijder.
The Daily Mail says Rafa Benitez is locking horns with his old adversary Sir Alex Ferguson again in a battle over the future of Inter Milan's Holland midfielder.
Manchester United manager Ferguson wants the Dutchman and has been encouraged by suggestions of imminent changes at the San Siro.
Inter have offered Sneijder a new improved contract to keep him in Milan for the next five years.
The former Real Madrid midfielder already has an agreement until 2013 and is now considering an invitation from Benitez to extend it for another two years.
