Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino is being linked with Chelsea.

The Uruguay international, reports Sky Italia, has been recommended to Chelsea by Maurizio Sarri's minders.

Should the sacked Napoli coach engineer a move to Chelsea in the coming days, he will push for Vecino to follow him.

The midfielder played for Sarri at Empoli before leaving for Inter last year.

Vecino, 26, is in Uruguay's provisional 26 man squad for this summer's World Cup.
