Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin is pushing to sign for Manchester United. The Daily Star says Guarin appears to be United boss Louis van Gaal's plan B with a move for Juventus star Arturo Vidal failing but the Colombian wants to make the move to Old Trafford.
According to reports in Italy, Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg have slapped an offer on the table but the player is not interested in the move and is looking for a better proposal.
It is thought that after a round of discussions with the Italian club's chiefs and his agent Marcelo Ferreyra, Guarin has his sights set on playing for Van Gaal.
There is further good news for the Red Devils as the reports suggest Inter president Erick Thohir has lowered his asking price for the 28-year-old to just £10m.
