Inter Milan have made contact with the camp of Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne.
RAI Sport says Insigne has been informed his former Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri wants to work with him at Inter.
The young forward clashed with Napoli fans last week during their draw with Champions League opponents Athletic Bilbao. His girlfriend also hit out at local fans on social media.
Inter feel they can prise the youngster away from Napoli this week.
However, the Azzurri are adamant Insigne will not be sold so close to the market deadline.
