Inter Milan are lining up a bid for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan.

Marca says Inter see Forlan as a replacement for Samuel Eto'o, who is expected to join Anzhi.

The Uruguayan international is under contract for another two years in Madrid and has recently turned down numerous offers.

It's claimed Forlan rejected moves to Turkey, Russia, Brazil and Dubai, but would leap at the chance of playing in the Champions League with Inter.
