Inter Milan legend Simoni: Moratti too trigger happy

Inter Milan coaching legend Gigi Simoni is disappointed with the sacking of Gian Piero Gasperini.

Simoni had a spell in charge of the Nerazzurri from 1997 to 1999, but was also sacked after only a few games into a season, and he has again questioned Massimo Moratti's decision to take similar action with Gasperini.

"I did not agree when they sacked [Rafa] Benitez, nor do I now agree about Gasperini.

"He had the skills to sit on that bench. Of course, we need know the situation in the dressing room, to figure out what sort of relationship there was between team and Coach. Often it all depends on that.

"Inter? They are team without enthusiasm, without stimulation. They are a squad that has won everything, but has aged too much."
