Davide Santon has arrived in London to undergo a medical with West Ham United.
Reports suggest that the Inter Milan defender will have the physical test on Thursday before agreeing personal terms with the Hammers over a season-long loan.
The Daily Mail indicates that Santon will spend the 2016/17 season temporarily with Slaven Bilic's West Ham with a view to a permanent £5million move to East London.
Former Newcastle United left-back Santon will replace the injured Aaron Cresswell having featured just 13 times for Roberto Mancini in a Nerazzurri shirt last term.
Santon had been linked with a move to Crystal Palace to reunite with former Magpies boss Alan Pardew but it appears as though he will make the Olympic Stadium his home for at least the upcoming season.
