Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti will launch a bid for Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero this summer.

Mediaset says Moratti is ready to get down to work on bringing the Argentina international to the San Siro - on the express request of coach Jose Mourinho.

Diego Maradona has already told Moratti this season to buy El Kun, while Inter captain Javier Zanetti is reported to have made contact this week urging the striker to join him in Milan next season.

Sources say Aguero would accept a contract offer of around £2.5 million-a-year and his buyout clause remains in Moratti's budget at £40 million.
